CCIS Malaysia Opens September 2024

Concord College International School Malaysia (CCIS) opened its doors to students on 1 September with lessons starting on 2 September.  Situated on a 10 acre campus in Sunsuria City in Sepang, CCIS offers a British international education from the age to 5 in the Primary School, through to the age of 18 in the Secondary School.

Said Mr Neil Hawkins, Global Principal of Concord College International Ltd and CCIS Executive Founding Principal said:

“It is a historic moment for the Concord College family this September with the opening of Concord College International School in Malaysia.  Its 162 students across 11 year groups are drawn from 14 countries and are already showing themselves to be sensible and serious students.  This is our first full international school spanning 13 year groups and is a welcome addition to the Concord community.

“I am grateful to the Board of CCIL and of Concord whose faith in this project over many years has been vindicated.  I would also like to express gratitude to Tan Sri Ter and the education team at Sunsuria Berhad as well as the Senior Leadership Team at CCIS for making it possible.

“The impressive, rigorous and talented Senior Leadership Team (SLT) has strong links to Concord College UK and a comprehensive understanding of the Concord ethos. With 42 years collective experience of Concord UK, the SLT is both experienced in management and in the delivery a Concord education. I am delighted that the Concord heartbeat is so strong at CCIS.”
