SCBS Pudong to open in September 2023

Concord College International is delighted to announce that a second school in Shanghai and a member of the Concord College International family of schools will be opening in September 2023.

SCBS (Shanghai Concord Bilingual School) Pudong will be a bilingual day and boarding school in the educational model of its sister school SCBS in Puxi (Huangpu). The school which is situated on a 10 acre campus in the Pudong District of Shanghai will have a kindergarten (Concord Academy), a Primary School, a Middle School and a High School with an overall capacity of 1800 students.  The High School curriculum will be delivering iGCSEs and A levels and enabling students to access global university destinations.

The campus is a highly impressive purpose built international school offering separate buildings for the different sections of the school. The extra-curricular facilities are state of the art including a 700 seat auditorium, a extremely spacious sports hall and an underground half-size Olympic swimming pool.

Dr Oliver Kramer has been appointed as the Founding Executive Principal and he will also continue as the Executive Principal of SCBS  Puxi.

A recent launch event was held in Shanghai and was very well received by the audience of over 400 guests.
